HERE’S MY WORSHIP SMILE, HERE’S MY LIFE LORD SMILE.

Smile is one of my favorite songs, excuse me have you heard TASHA COBBS version (if you know me, you know shes favorite WORSHIPER), if you have not heard it go LISTEN TO IT NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This particular song speaks volume, can God look at your life and smile, can He boast about you like He did for Job, does your lifestyle (Remember worship is a lifestyle, it is way more than a song) make Him smile or is He grieved?

hmws

Been pondering on this on and off over these past weeks, I am sure I am not the only one that wants God to look at my life and smile, but i ask myself how bad do i want God to smile at me? Because most times we talk about stuff, but that’s where it ends,  we never take the necessary steps to see it through. One thing that most of us struggle with is “Trying to please human beings” OMG it is time we actually wake up and stop sleeping on a bicycle, it is not everyday “people bondage”. Paul actually explains it best in Galatians 1 VS 10: Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant. If peoples opinions make you they would break you, i say this with love and not with judgement, sometimes because i am scared of what people might say or think i am dont do certain things and then i feel dumb afterwards (SMH), why do we care so much about what people think “Question for the gods” (not sure if that’s appropriate LOL)

We cannot actually make God smile if we are more concerned about what other think about us, 1 Thessalonians 2 vs 4:  For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. These people do not know you the way God knows you, Jeremiah 1 vs : “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Your main concern should be, Romans 12 vs 1-2: I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

  1. Present yourself as a living sacrifice (Please this is not some demonic ritual), it means to surrender yourself to God completely, withholding absolutely nothing back  When you surrender to God i believe it is a form of worship and God would never despise a broken spirit and a contrite heart, Psalm 51 vs 16-1:For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.
  2. Do not be conformed to the things of this world (basically do not love the world),1 John 2 vs 15-16: Do not love this orld nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. Most of us only love the things of this world because it fills the void in our hearts, that is why we chase after vanity but only God can actually fill that void. Do not be concerned about what others think about you that you begin to do things that you normally would not do.
  3. Renew your mind daily we can renew our minds daily by spending time reading and meditating on his word daily (2 different things) Joshua 1 vs 8: Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

So this week make the right decisions, and live for God.
