First of all apologies for not posting since January it might seem like i abandoned “current situation” that is not the case at all i assure you. I have been working on other projects which i will soon share and also life happened as well so again apologies.
What i want to talk about today is being “FEARLESS”, if you have read all my posts then you may remember my post about confidence, it is one of my favourites i actually go back and read it sometimes when i need a reminder on who i rely on. Being fearless stems from your confidence in God, when you know the God that you serve you will be fearless. 2015 fear held me back a lot, so one of my goals this year was to be fearless in pursuit of what i want/ed. Which i did and i must say it was very hard at first, i promise you though it gets easier.
I found that my biggest problem was my mind, if it’s one battle you should aim to win it must the “battle in your mind” Yesss your mind is actually a battlefield and it’s not about being a Christian or whatever, as long as you are a Human being on this earth there’s daily struggle in your mind. So as you can imagine my mind needed to be renewed in the word of God, because fear already held my mind captive and it was holding me back. I began to consciously speak positively about my plans, my visions, my dreams, i basically made up my mind to always go for it and there have been changes but i am very happy with where i am now
There have been a few times i reverted back to my old ways as it was easy to just be there and not challenge myself but when i sit down and think, like hold on Jennifer you are responsible for your success “never ever play yourself”. You have to wake up and fight for yourself everyday you cant fulfil your purpose if you are always scared, fear would not let you dream and that’s why you need to fight back. Be brave and allow yourself to dream, you might be a little scared and it’s okay but always have faith, believe that God has a plan for your life.
Some scriptures to remind to always be fearless.
2 Timothy 1 vs 7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
Psalm 118 vs 6
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can [mere] man do to me?
BE FEARLESS
