Write your Vision 📖🙏🏾

I have always loved writing/ journaling  mainly because I am obsessed with my writing ( I love it 😂😂😂) and because I think a lot so I tend to have many ideas which can be very overwhelming hence why I journal my thoughts. 

The bible actually talks about writing down your vision in Habakuk 2 vs 2 -3 

“And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay”.

Three things that I want to point out from this scripture.

1. The word specifically said “whoever reads it may run with it”. One of the main reasons we have been instructed to write is to keep us in line, it forces us to be specific and clear on what we want it also motivates us in alignment with the vision. Don’t just write it go back and read it again don’t abandon it, I find that my vision/goal becomes clearer and  specific the more I write the more I understand it. 

2. The vision awaits an appointed time in one of my posts titled “the winding road to destiny” i  talked about how sometimes destiny awaits us to be ready.  There  is an appointed time for everything thats just the way things are (Ecclessiastes 3vs 1-8), I do understand that sometimes our dreams might seem impossible to achieve when we focus on our current circumstance or when things are not looking like what you had in mind but (Matthew 19 vs26)” with God all things are possible”.

“Habakkuk 2vs 2 also reminds us that there is a specific and appointed time don’t be discouraged if you are, go back and read your vision again encourage yourself don’t wait for people to encourage you, as they wont always be there. Not every mind can understand or be entrusted with your vision after all it’s yours. 

3. Lastly “it will not lie” just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean that your vision is rubbish not at all be patient and wait but while waiting carry on working towards your goal. Waiting on God is not the easiest thing but when you do he will surely renew your strenght (Isaiah 40 vs 31). Place your hope in him alone and keep your head up don’t think that because this other persons time has come and your hasn’t God has forgotten about you or all your labour has been in vain, that is not the case at all encourage yourself knowing fully well that your time is coming .
